Anyway, I thought I'd give you a glimpse into the past and show you Breana's room in certain stages before it looked the way it does today. Also, I'm totally gonna toot my own horn and brag on myself here- I did it all. Like a crazy person, I did this by myself. I didn't want to but I have the know-how so every bit I could do saved me money. I didn't reupholster the chair nor did I make the headboard. But I did paint, put everything else together, measure, level, anchor and hang it all. I take pride in that. I'm a handy woman!
I wrote the above part last night and I'm happy to report that my Hungarian Chocolate Mousse Cake is going to be amazing! My mousse just needed to chill out- literally- and it thickened. This was the most labor intensive dessert but I licked my way through each step and it's really, really delicious. I hate pumpkin pie. I mean, I don't really hate it. It's okay, it's just basic and overdone. I loved it as a child though and I'd sit alone with my slice at the kitchen table, I'd mash it up with a fork and (remember, I'd be alone otherwise my parents would not allow this) I'd set down the fork, pretend I was a dog and I'd face plant into that pumpkin pie and chow down on it. Not sure why I'm ending this with that story. Happy Thanksgiving and chow down on some food today, y'all!
